What is the Indonesia B211A tourism visa? The B211A (sometimes called the "Single-Entry Visit Visa for Tourism") is an Indonesian visa class issued for tourism, family visits, and certain non-paid social or cultural activities. Unlike the eVOA, the B211A is processed before you fly and allows a much longer stay — 60 days on initial issue, extendable twice for a total of 180 days. The B211A requires an Indonesian sponsor (which Bali Fast Track provides as part of the service) and is issued as a "telex visa" by the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration. Bali Fast Track's B211 concierge service handles sponsor letters, online application via the Imigrasi portal, government fees, and document delivery — typically 5–7 business days. The visa is then collected by you (or our courier) at the chosen Indonesian Embassy or used as an electronic visa for direct boarding.
When to Choose the B211A Over the eVOA
The Indonesia eVOA is perfect for most short-stay holiday visitors — it's quick, online, and gives you up to 60 days when extended. But for travellers planning a longer stay, the eVOA's 60-day cap quickly becomes restrictive. The B211A Tourism Visa is built for these longer-stay scenarios:
Digital nomads and remote workers. The B211A's 180-day allowance lines up with the typical "long Bali stay" — three to six months in Canggu, Ubud, or the Bukit. While the visa technically does not permit paid local Indonesian work, foreign-employed remote work performed for a non-Indonesian employer is widely accepted under this category. We always recommend speaking with us to confirm your specific situation fits the visa rules.
Retirees on extended sabbatical. If you are between 55 and 65 and not yet ready to commit to the more involved KITAS Pensiun (retirement KITAS), the B211A is an excellent way to spend up to six months in Bali while you decide.
Family visits and social purposes. Visiting Indonesian relatives, attending a long wedding programme, or supporting family members for an extended period — the B211A covers these social purposes cleanly.
Nationalities not eligible for the eVOA. Travellers from countries outside the eVOA-eligible list often qualify for B211A. We can confirm your eligibility within minutes.
If your stay is shorter than 60 days and your nationality is on the eVOA list, the eVOA is faster and cheaper. For everything else, the B211A is the right call.

B211 Visa Questions
The B211A Tourism Visa is issued for 60 days initial validity. From inside Indonesia, it can be extended twice, each extension giving you another 60 days, for a total maximum stay of 180 days. Extensions are processed at any Imigrasi office in Bali; we offer a separate B211 extension service to handle the appointments and paperwork.
The B211A is a tourism visa and does not authorise paid work in Indonesia. You may not be employed by an Indonesian company, run a business in Indonesia, or receive payment from Indonesian sources. Foreign-employed remote work for non-Indonesian companies is generally accepted under this visa class — but if you have a specific work scenario, please ask us before applying.
Our B211A package starts from $200 and covers Indonesian sponsorship, application preparation, government fees (IDR 2,000,000+), and digital approval delivery. The total fee depends on processing speed (standard 5–7 business days vs. express 3 business days) and is shown clearly on the booking page before you pay.
Most B211A visas are now issued as "e-Visa" telex visas — the approval comes by email and you board your flight directly. No embassy visit needed. For nationalities still requiring sticker collection, we can advise on the nearest Indonesian Embassy and walk you through that step.
No. The eVOA cannot be converted to a B211A inside Indonesia. If you started on an eVOA and want longer than the 60-day eVOA maximum, you would need to leave Indonesia, apply for a B211A from outside, and re-enter on the new visa. We can plan this for you.
Yes. Bali Fast Track is a registered Indonesian travel and concierge company holding the licenses required to act as a tourism sponsor under Indonesian law. The visa itself is issued by the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration; we are the sponsor and concierge layer that makes the application possible for visitors who don't have an Indonesian relative or company sponsor.
