Private luxury yacht charter cruising near Nusa Penida and Lembongan, Bali

How does private yacht charter work in Bali? A private yacht charter in Bali is arranged through our concierge team in coordination with vessels registered under Indonesian Marine Affairs (Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan / Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut). As a registered Indonesian travel agency, we operate as the passenger concierge layer — handling enquiries, custom itineraries, dietary preferences, and dock-side logistics — while the actual vessel is owned and skippered by licensed Indonesian marine operators. Charter options include a 60-foot luxury motor yacht, an 80-foot superyacht, and traditional Indonesian phinisi sailing vessels (35–45 metres) for multi-day expeditions. Pricing depends on vessel and itinerary (half-day charter, full-day cruise to Nusa Penida or Lembongan, or overnight Komodo voyages) — ask us for a quote. All charters depart from Benoa Harbour or Serangan, with marina pickup included.

What You Can Do With a Private Yacht

Day charter to Nusa Penida & Lembongan. The most popular itinerary: depart Benoa Harbour around 9 AM, cruise about 90 minutes to the protected Nusa Lembongan and Penida channel, anchor at Crystal Bay or Manta Point for snorkelling, swim or paddle-board off the bow, lunch on board prepared by your crew, then a leisurely return as the south Bali coastline glows at sunset.

Sunset sail off Jimbaran. A 3–4 hour evening charter is one of the most beautiful ways to end a day in Bali — a slow cruise west along the Jimbaran Bay coastline, anchor offshore as the sun drops behind Mount Agung, dinner served on deck with chilled wine. Ideal for couples, anniversaries, or proposals.

Multi-day Komodo expedition. For travellers with more time, we coordinate 4–7 night phinisi voyages through the Komodo National Park — Pink Beach, Padar Island sunrise, manta-ray sites at Manta Point, dragon trekking on Komodo Island itself, and remote anchorages where you'll likely be the only vessel. Larger phinisi vessels carry up to 12–16 guests with private cabins, dive masters, and a full galley crew.

Other arrangements include corporate event charters (board offsites, product launches at sea), wedding-cruise ceremonies, dive expeditions to Tulamben and Menjangan, and tender-supported beach drop-offs to islands inaccessible by road. Every itinerary is reviewed against weather, marine traffic, and current Indonesian Harbour Master clearance requirements.

From Sleek Motor Yachts to Traditional Phinisi

60-foot luxury motor yacht. Sleek twin-engine cruiser with three guest cabins, an open sundeck, swim platform, and a tender for beach landings. Best suited to day charters and short overnight runs to Lembongan or Lombok — fast (around 22 knots cruise), modern, and very comfortable for groups of up to 10 guests.

80-foot superyacht. A larger flagship option for corporate events, multi-family groups, and longer voyages, with four to five cabins, formal dining, and a full crew of 5–7 including chef. Capable of overnight Komodo or southern Lombok itineraries with comfort levels comparable to a five-star floating villa.

Traditional Indonesian phinisi. Hand-built from ironwood in South Sulawesi, the phinisi is the heritage sailing vessel of the Indonesian archipelago. Modern charter phinisi range from 35 to 45 metres, carrying up to 16 guests in air-conditioned cabins with full marine certification. They are slow (typically 9–10 knots), photogenic, and deeply suited to the Komodo and Raja Ampat itineraries that have become the signature Indonesian luxury voyage.

All vessels we work with are Indonesian-flagged, Harbour Master-cleared, fully insured, and operated by certified captains with the Indonesian Marine Affairs-issued credentials required for commercial passenger charter.

Yacht Charter Questions

No. We are an independent, registered Indonesian travel agency operating as the passenger concierge layer alongside licensed vessel operators. Each yacht in our network is independently owned and skippered by Indonesian Marine Affairs-licensed captains and crew. Our role is to match you with the right vessel for your itinerary, handle the booking and payment, and coordinate with the operator on logistics.

Most charters depart from Benoa Harbour (the main marina in south Bali) or Serangan. For Komodo voyages, the phinisi typically embarks from Labuan Bajo on Flores — we coordinate the connecting flight from Bali as part of the package. Marina pickup transfer from your hotel or villa is included in every charter price.

Day charter on the 60-foot motor yacht comfortably accommodates 10 guests; the 80-foot superyacht handles 12–14 for day cruising and 8–10 for overnight. Phinisi vessels typically carry 12–16 guests in cabins. For larger groups (corporate events, weddings) we can charter multiple vessels in formation.

Yes — every full-day, overnight, and multi-day charter includes a dedicated cook or chef. Day charters typically serve a hot lunch (Indonesian or Western); overnight and longer voyages include three full meals daily, prepared from fresh ingredients provisioned at the start of each leg. Dietary requirements (vegan, halal, gluten-free, allergies) are handled if notified at booking.

Bali's south coast can be lively in the southeast monsoon (May–September); the protected channels around Lembongan and the Komodo archipelago are generally calmer. We can route around rough sectors and recommend non-drowsy seasickness medication if needed. Every vessel carries marine first-aid supplies.

For day charters, 1–2 weeks ahead is usually sufficient outside peak season. For Komodo phinisi expeditions (especially July–August and December–January), the most popular vessels are booked 3–6 months ahead. Last-minute availability does occur — send a WhatsApp enquiry and we'll check the live schedule.
